Johnny Sexton may not be the Ireland or Leinster captain.
But there is little doubt the former Racing Metro man is a key player for Leo Cullen and Joe Schmidt.
We may still be a few weeks away from the opening game of the Six Nations, but Joe Schmidt must be an anxious man every time a player in his squad appears to go down with an injury that could put their participation in the tournament in doubt.
And none more so than the Leinster outhalf, who was an early withdrawal from today's game for his province against Wasps due to a head injury.

Sexton of course has a history of concussion, and he reportedly failed the Head Injury Assessment that took place on the side of the pitch, which could put his participation in the 7 February clash at the Aviva against Wales in doubt.

To be fair the Dubliner did look ok on the be bench after he was substituted and hopefully it is nothing more than a major precaution.

But due to his history, and the closeness of the tournament, any possible worry over his health will have to be taken very seriously.
Although Wasps still seem to think he's playing

But the consensus is appears to be more concern for the his health this afternoon.
An update is expected after the game.
