It wouldn’t be like Ireland’s Call to split opinion, would it?
The Irish belted out their rugby anthem before a crucial World Cup game with France but, as per usual, it wasn’t taken in with unanimous adoration.
Like it or loathe it, it got the people going on Sunday.
Still can't get with that ersatz faux-anthem "Ireland's Call" but still… Getting excited now! #coybig

This particular version for such a crunch clash did get people more up for the war.
Great to see Joe Schmidt passionately singing Ireland's Call before the IrlvFrance game!An inspirational Leader#attentiontodetail #RWC2015

And, even if you’re not a fan of the new-ish anthem (can we call it that?), it was still being screamed around the Millennium Stadium.

Still, there are no talking some people around.
Ireland's call….load of bollocks

You know its bad when that bloody annoying Eir ad is given more praise.
That song from the Eir ad is more appropriate than Ireland's Call. https://t.co/Izj5e44cW4

But a group of Ireland soccer fans watching on from Poland before the crunch Euro ’16 qualifier had their own method of getting psyched before the rugby match.
During Ireland’s Call played in the bar, they sang their own version. They sang Amhrán na bhFiann.
The Ireland fans in Warsaw went for an Amhran na Bhfiann/Ireland's Call combo. #RTEsoccer #RTErugby pic.twitter.com/fgZLBmeaPE
