Big, brutal forwards, and delicate electronics have never been a good match. Steohen Ferris is showing us why.
The annual Kinsale 7s festival takes place this week, and the former and Ulster and Irish legend was taking part in a bit of promo work for the event, but it took a turn for the worse.
The organisers of the video had him line up a golf ball and drive it into the River Bandon, but what happened next was far funnier better than anything they could have planned.
Despite Ferris’ stunning technique (he’s way, way bigger than us), he was incredibly unlucky to somehow fresh air the ball, before it eventually rolled off the tee and dropped to the ground.
Hoping to clear his head before a second take, Ferris stepped back around the boardwalk, somehow managing to kick one of their Go Pro cameras into the river.
Ironically, Ferris’ profile picture of him on Twitter is a shot of him on the golf course. This was clearly a once off (seriously, he’s way bigger than us).
Word of warning for the weekend ahead..small cameras and big rugby players don’t go hand in hand! Introducing…’How to lose a Go-Pro with Stephen Ferris’..
