Video: Sergio Parisse pays huge compliment to Jamie Heaslip and reveals he’s a pop punk fan

Jamie Heaslip has one of the greatest No 8s in modern rugby singing his praises

Sergio Parisse admitted being a big admirer of the Leinster forward’s playing style in a recent off-beat interview. When asked who his least favourite person to mark is, Parisse didn’t hesitate to cite the Irishman as the number one player he hates playing against.

Jamie Heaslip from Ireland. I consider one of the best number eights in European rugby. (At) this moment, especially with Ireland, he’s playing very well.

The Stade Francais stalwart also confessed being a bit of a fan of pop punk behemoths Blink 182. He revealed that the song he uses to pysch himself up before games is one of the band’s more melancholic hits.

I love a lot of Blink 182. Adam’s Song is my favourite song. I hear it since 2003 when I played my first World Cup. I was 20-years-old. I had more hair, you know.
