Changing of the guard in Leinster?
Whenever the reigning champs in any sporting competition get knocked out it is big news. And when that team knocked out is the undisputed blue blood of the sport to boot then it really is news. Add if that defeat comes in the most dramatic of fashions then you have a real fairytale story.
That is just what happened today in the Leinster Senior Cup quarter final in Donnybrook. Blackrock, winners last year, and the year before, and a school who have won 68 titles in their history, went down to a last second pushover try by Cistercian College Roscrea, a team who have never won the title.
With the game deep into injury time, Roscrea tried to bundle their way over for the killer try and Blackrock were simply unable to resist.
Incredible finish here in Donnybrook! Roscrea score a last-minute try to knock out defending champions Blackrock. https://t.co/SMmoRn86ZD

Roscrea join Clongowes and Newbridge in the semi finals, meaning three non-Dublin teams in the final four. The final quarter-final, between Monkstown and Belvedere takes place on Friday.
