It wasn’t how anyone thought it would end, but it has.
Paul O’Connell’s final night in a Munster jersey turned into a disaster, as the Irish province were beaten by Glasgow in tonight’s Pro 12 final in Belfast.
The game was dominated by talk beforehand of the Limerick man’s possible departure to France and Toulon, but speaking to SKY he revealed that it may be a few more weeks yet before we know exactly his future plans,
Paul O'Connell says he will take the next 4 weeks off before making a statement on his club future. Dragging the arse out of this one

He did confirm however that the World Cup will be his international swansong and that he won’t play for Munster ever again,
Paul O'Connell: "I knew in the back of my mind that for a while I would retire for Munster & Ireland after the World Cup"

He also admitted his disappointment at how Munster failed to secure the title after an under-par performance
Paulie doesn't think Munster threw everything at Glasgow. I won't argue with the man.
