Ed Garrigan was ecstatic to come home and find a lion in his living room.
Leinster supporter Ed was over the moon because the feline was the province’s mascot Leo the Lion and he was there as part of the Ultimate Leinster Fan Home Experience, brought to us by Samsung, which saw the winner’s living room transformed into heaven on earth for the armchair sports fan.
As part of the prize Ed’s living room was kitted out with tiered, stadium style seating, a Leinster Christmas tree, loads of Leinster goodies, a full-stocked fridge and, most importantly, a sleigh-full of Samsung prizes.
The Garrigans’ home viewing pleasure this Christmas will be enhanced no end by a new Samsung fridge, 55″ Samsung Curved TV, Samsung Curved Soundbar, Samsung POWERbot, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 and TWO Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
Ed also won a framed, signed Leinster jersey to hang in his shrine to the three-time European champions.
But there was more, because this Saturday Ed will be heading to the Aviva Stadium to see his beloved Blues take on Toulon in the Champions Cup. He knows he’ll be welcome on Lansdowne Road because he only went and got a personal invite from Leinster stars Ben Te’o, Jordi Murphy and Dave Kearney.
The best bit was Ed had no clue about any of this until he walked into his transformed living room. Check out the look on his face. Priceless.
