When you’re drawing Ronan O’Gara comparisons, you’re doing something right.
Welsh fly half, James Hook, threatened to break Twitter tonight when he sent social media into meltdown with his last-gasp heroics in the Aviva Premiership.
And these weren’t your average, run-of-the-mills heroics. These were halfway line, howling wind, two points down, Ronan O’Gara-esque heroics.
Gloucester were 21-23 down to Saracens in the 81st minute when Hook lined up this incredulous penalty and, with the sweetest of strikes, the Welsh man stole a one-point victory and all the plaudits.
Might go to James hook’s house and congratulate him personally
