VIDEO: Irish rugby fans belt out a truly bizarre chant

Right

Ben Kiely

Irish fans are making their own fun on the way to and from matches at the rugby World Cup.

We saw last week how the Irish faithful took over Wembley tube station after the dominant win over Romania. Well it turns out that jovial atmosphere was also found inside the trains themselves, although it manifested itself a bit differently.

Rather than belting out a classic rugby anthem such as The Fields of Athenry, Stand Up and Fight or something of that ilk, the Irish fans were seen belting out a peculiar chant involving their footwear.

We can only assume that they ran out of songs and the train didn’t have Wifi.
