Boom goes the dynamite.
Carlow Coyotes fullback Maureen Young had a phenomenal performance during her side’s 12-12 draw with Rathdrum RFC on Sunday.
Young played a pivotal role in an early contender for Irish try of the year. She picked up a kick from inside her own 22 and then went on the rampage sprinting down the field fending off a tackle before (literally) running straight a Rathdrum player trying to make a tackle.
She was eventually brought down but teammate Meg Parkinson was quick to pick the ball up and run in for the try.

As if that wasn’t enough, Young also produced an astounding try-saving tackle during the game.

There are unconfirmed reports that she walked on water and cured a leper after the game.
