There’s fast, and then there’s Carlin Isles fast. The Rugby Sevens legend was on the top of his game again on Saturday as he ripped the Kenyan defensive cover to shreds in their Pool D game in Hong Kong.
The former athletics star has only been playing rugby a few years, but when you can go from 0-60 in about two seconds flat then you don’t need to have played Munster Junior league to know the boy can play.
His highlight reel of incredible try’s is sensational enough at this stage and he has another one to add to the showreel after this blistering effort saw him pick up the ball deep in his own half and just saunter through the opposition defence.
Although we have to say we’re mightily impressed by the speed of the referee too who manges to keep up with the American.
How about this @WorldRugby7s referee keeping up w/ the fastest man in rugby @Carlin_Isles http://t.co/yGUUx8HJu8 pic.twitter.com/nDpl3UsGt8
