So was the case last night as Irish fans were praised, far and wide, for their raucous renditions of Fields of Athenry during the New Zealand beat-down of France.
However, Sunday is a new quarter final day and the Argentineans are in town.
With many Irish fans cradling their coffees, the Pumas supporters stole a chanting march at Cardiff Central train station.
