Ruan Smith will not be eating spicy food for a week, or three.
The Brumbies prop chomped his teeth together when he was landed with a hefty tackle earlier this month. Unfortunately, he was not wearing a mouthguard and a tooth speared through his tongue.

Life out the back of the pitch has proved no safer for Hurricanes fullback Jason Woodward. The Kiwi broke his ankle last weekend and is facing up to a season on the mend. On Thursday, he tweeted out this x-ray of his damaged ankle.
