Supporters were not happy with their heroes as they fell extremely short at Allianz Park
Munster were taught a lesson in Champions Cup rugby as Saracens countered their conservative approach with domination up front, destructive ball-carrying and inventiveness up front. Chris Wyles and Chris Ashton (twice) scored tries and out-half Owen Farrell kicked the rest.
Three defeats from the last three Champions Cup interests has ended Munster’s involvement in the competition. Fans turned to Twitter in their moment of need, letting off steam and expressing hopeless frustration in equal measure.

Ashton definitely should have had a yellow for the zebo tackle in the air. Amazed the referee didn’t go to the video #munster #zebo #ashton

I’ve always had faith in Munster even when no one else did but this is diabolical! The amount of handling errors is ridiculous! Foley out!; Nicole Kennedy (@KennedyNicole_3) January 17, 2015
If Munster had 15 with O’Mahony’s heart they’d be winning this

Can't watch this embarrassment from @Munsterrugby anymore. So disappointing to go out with a weak whimper like this. #SarvMun
