It could be a historic week for rugby in the west.
Pat Lam has made three changes to his side as they go in search of qualification for the European Champions Cup.
They take on table-topping Ospreys, knowing a win, and a defeat without a losing bonus point for the Scarlets against Treviso, will win them a coveted top six finish.
Failing that, a win would secure Pat Lam’s side a place in the playoff for the competition.
There are three changes for the clash at the Sportsground, with Kieran Marmion back in the side at scrum half in place of John Cooney, who is on the bench.
Danie Poolman is injured, so Fionn Carr takes his place on the wing, while Andrew Browne comes in at second row, in place of Ultan Dillane.
Connacht: T O’Halloran, F Carr, R Henshaw, B Aki, M Healy, J Carty, K Marmion; D Buckley, T McCartney, R Ah You, A Browne, A Muldowney, J Muldoon, E Masterson, E McKeon.
And if you’re having trouble working out the permutations, just let Professor Lam fill you in…
