From hero to zero in 0.5 seconds
Western Province continued a week of Super Rugby shockers by turning over Waratahs, the reigning champions, in their season opener.
A four-try performance by the South African outfit saw them claim an impressive 25-15 win. The margin would have been greater were it not for an act of butchery not seen since Daniel Day Lewis got out the half-moon sickle in Gangs of New York.
Marcel Brache did excellently to charge down a clearance attempt by Bernard Foley but, less than a second later, botched the simple try-scoring chance.
