Racing winger Teddy Thomas turned down the chance to seal a first-half hat-trick against Munster by passing the ball to teammate Maxime Machenaud after he had already rounded the visitors defence.
The France international opened his account after evading the tackle of Alex Wootton on five minutes before he then snared his second try of the game later in the half when he received a draw and pass from centre Virimi Vakatawa.
With Munster reeling from two tries in the opening 20 minutes, Thomas struck again when he cut back in off the right wing to accelerate behind the posts for what looked like a certain third score.
"He is shredding Munster's defence right now!"
Teddy Thomas has been unplayable thus far… Two tries, it would have been a hat-trick if he didn't gift this score to a teammate 🤔

However, he turned the chance down and popped the ball to Machenaud for the easiest of scores.
Thomas’ pass to the France scrum-half highlighted just how easy it has been for the hosts in the first-half in Bordeaux but it won’t have been received well by the Munster players.
Imagine if Machenaud had dropped that pass from Teddy Thomas! Wasn’t looking or expecting it. Good reactions by him to take it. Never seen the like. Teddy, Teddy, Teddy!

Racing are putting on an exhibition. Teddy Thomas is 🔥 although not a fan of wingers passing up easy tries 😂

Did Teddy Thomas just give up a hat-trick?
