Sonny Bill Williams strips off to once more provide priceless mementoes to rugby fans

He is at it again!

Sonny Bill Williams is definitely sounder than the average human being.

A human wrecking ball with hands so soft they must be bathed in mild green Fairy liquid all night, every night, the All Blacks centre has developed something of a reputation for classy gestures.

Who could forget the former rugby league star handing his 2015 World Cup winner’s medal to young fan Charlie Lines at Twickenham, just minutes after receiving it.

He already had one from 2011, how many RWC winner’s medals does one man need? One, is the answer, according to Sonny Bill.

In fact, Williams admired Lines’ spirit – running a hard line onto the pitch to try and meet his heroes, the All Blacks fan was tackled by security guards.

“I was walking around doing a lap of honour with the boys and a young fella came running out and he got smoked by the security guard, like full on tackled him. I felt sorry for the little fella,” explained Williams at the time.

“He would have been eight or seven, I kind of felt sorry for him. It will be a night that he remembers hopefully.”

Lines’ mother offered to return the medal but Sonny Bill was adamant.

Well, they don’t hand out medals for Test victories over the Lions, but Sonny Bill was still in generous mood after Saturday’s 30-15 win.

Leaving the field, already devoid of his famous black jersey, the 31-year-old was asked by some Lions fans for a memento and he didn’t disappoint – stripping to his jocks to give the young fans his shorts.

It also looked like he was whipping off his socks… which might be more of an acquired taste after 80 minutes of being bashed by the likes of Ben Te’o.
