We’re all going to miss him.
It wasn’t the happiest St Stephen’s Day for Munster as they lost an epic eight-try inter-provincial derby with Leinster at Thomond Park.
Simon Zebo would have been frustrated, too, as he was unable to stop Jordan Larmour’s try-of-the-season contender. The Munster players were visibly dispirited leaving the field after losing 34-24 but Zebo still had time for one of his biggest fans.
Hanna O’Connell from Kerry attended the match at Thomond Park and hoped to get Zebo’s attention with her poster which said: “we’ll miss you Zeebs.”
I’ll miss you too little rockstar 🌟

The 27-year-old Cork native was going through his pre-match warm-up as Hanna held up the poster from the stand. Zebo initially responded with a thumbs up before going over to offer a hug and pose for a photograph while holding up the poster.
Zebo then posted a photo to his Twitter account last night with the caption: “I’ll miss you too little rockstar.”
Although Hanna is understandably dreading Zebo’s departure from Munster – the Ireland wing is leaving to play abroad at the end of the season – getting to meet her hero was the best Christmas present she could have hoped for.
Heartwarming stuff. Munster will be lesser without him.
