Quade Cooper’s next boxing opponent has possibly forgotten he is fighting tomorrow

This Friday, at the Adelaide Oval, Australian rugby star Quade Cooper will resume his colourful boxing career.

Cooper, who is 2-0 in professional boxing, goes up against Jack McInnes on the undercard to the rematch between Anthony Mundine and Danny Green. Both men squared off against each other earlier today but fight fans are far from convinced that they will get anything more than a side-show spectacle. Not exactly. The 22-year-old has fought twice in the ring and lost both times. What the plucky underdog does have going for him, however, is fighting experience. He has 53 other bouts, MMA and Muay Thai, so knows how to hit... and be hit. His coach, Fraser Glover told Fraser Coast Chronicle:

"55 fights under your belt compared to three [for Cooper] is a heck of an advantage for Jack as long as we can hang in there in the fight."

All he has to do is last the initial Cooper flurries and he'll be just fine.
