PICS: Ireland get down to serious business with first training session at World Cup HQ

Let's do it

Patrick McCarry

It all starts now.

Ireland are in World Cup mode – it’s official.

The squad has already trained in Belfast, Galway and Cork but they were put through their paces at the country’s World Cup HQ today.

Joe Schmidt led his players through a rigorous morning session at Carton House and invited some special guests.

Ireland’s Women’s Sevens team watched their male counterparts as they prepared for this weekend’s clash with Wales.

Here are some of the best snaps.
