Munster get an absolute dog of a Champions Cup group

Patrick McCarry

Munster rarely do it easy, or get a chance to do it easy.

2019/20, as well as blasting off with a World Cup jamboree in Japan, features all four Irish provinces in the Champions Cup.

The draw for that competition took place on Wednesday afternoon in Lausanne, Switzerland and was preceded by the Challenge Cup draw.

Here is how it all worked out for each of the provinces.

CONNACHT

POOL 5 – Toulouse, Gloucester, Montpellier.

ULSTER

POOL 3 – Clermont, Harlequins, Bath.

Pool 4 is definitely next season’s GROUP OF ABSOLUTE, DIRTY DEATH:
