Anthony Foley restores a huge level of talent to his starting XV
Facing one of your biggest European foes in recent years you want to field a strong side and Anthony Foley is lucky enough to do just that. Dave Foley, Paul O’Connell, Peter O’Mahony, Conor Murray and Simon Zebo all come back into the Munster fold for the clash with Clermont in Thomond and when you add in Tommy O’Donnell and Felix Jones, seven fresh faces start for the men in red.
Pat Howard will also make his first start in Europe for the province, partnering Denis Hurley in the centre.
