More good news for Munster and Ireland as Simon Zebo ignores lure of France

Following hot on the heels of the news that Keith Earls and Conor Murray committed their long-term futures to Ireland and Munster came confirmation on Monday that Simon Zebo has signed a new two-year contract.

Zebo had been strongly linked with a move to the Top 14 but it seems the lure of a payday in France was not enough to prise him away from home.

“It’s great to have even more good news on the contract front today,” Foley said in a statement.

“Simon’s record speaks for itself and keeping a player with his experience and versatility is key to our plans going forward so we are delighted that he has committed his future to Munster.”
