Today's team that faced the Brumbies is the closest we have seen to the Test 23 that will face Australia on July 19.
Most positions are locked up, but there are still a few places up for grabs.
Ian McGeechan is one of the most legendary figures in Lions history, coaching the team to a famous win in South Africa in 1997, before leading them again in their 2-1 series loss to the Springboks in 2009.
Everyone and their mother is picking their Test XV, but McGeechan is someone who is unbiased and knows exactly what is required.
In his side, he has gone for an eye-watering nine Irish players, with Dan Sheehan, Tadhg Furlong, Joe McCarthy, Jack Conan, Jamison Gibson-Park, James Lowe, Bundee Aki, Garry Ringrose, and Hugo Keenan.
There was, however, an asterisk beside Keenan, with question marks over the fitness of Blair Kinghorn, who was forced off after 25 minutes against the Brumbies.
There are four English, one Scot, and one Welshman.
