Lot’s to slag each other about here.
The Lions took on the Maori All Blacks on Saturday in what will be the last major game for the Test team prior to next weekend’s game against New Zealand.
There’s a host of Irish players playing for the Lions with Tadhg Furlong, Johnny Sexton, Sean O’Brien and Peter O’Mahony all starting the game.
But there’s a player starting at fullback for the Maori who will be very familiar to a lot of Irish rugby fans. Leinster signing James Lowe, who will link up with Leo Cullen’s men in the coming season.
In the 38th minute, Tadhg Furlong was pinged for not releasing the man before competing for the ball on the ground, which resulted in Jaco Peyper penalising him.
But Lowe wasn’t content with his future Leinster teammate giving away such soft penalties and on the off chance he’d do something similar next season, decided to give the prop a quick lesson.
How very kind of you, James…

That wasn’t the end of it though, as Sexton’s pumped kick into the Maori 22 did Lowe all ends up.
Revenge is sweet.
