Some of the Leinster players were looking absolutely dapper at a sun-soaked RDS

Looking well, lads

A grand day for it.

There was a healthy crowd at the RDS today for Leinster’s PRO 12 clash with the Cardiff Blues.

And why wouldn’t there be?

Dublin has been basked in absolutely glorious sunshine for much of the afternoon and it’s difficult to think of any better way to enjoy the sunshine than taking in a game of rugby.

The Leinster faithful were treated to an exciting game which yielded six tries as the eastern province eventually ran out 22-21 winners over a Welsh outfit who just refused to go away.

It looked like Leinster would cruise to victory when the impressive Dan Leavy scored the game’s first try after five minutes but the away side hit back with a try of their own just seven minutes later.

Leinster stuttered at times throughout the game as they were guilty of some unforced errors and they will need to get it right on the training ground over the next week as they have London Wasps coming to the Aviva Stadium for the Champions Cup quarter-final.

Of course, Leinster will have their Ireland contingent back by then which will only improve Leo Cullen’s side and they were in attendance today at the RDS are they ran their eyes over proceedings.

The Sky Sports cameras panned to the players sitting in the stand and it’s safe to say that they may have overdressed for the occasion.

Jordi Murphy cracks a joke with Sean Cronin.

Mike Ross isn’t impressed…

We’re not sure why the lads all decided to wear matching gear, it’s like something out of Reservoir Dogs, except with blue suits.
