Supporters of Leinster and Munster can now start planning for their teams’ Champions Cup quarter finals.
In a move designed purely to make rugby journalists weep [we kid], EPCR has scheduled Leinster and Munster’s knock-out games on the same day.
There will be no Friday evening match at the Aviva Stadium, unfortunately. Instead, Leinster will welcome Wasps to Dublin for an afternoon kick-off [3:15pm] in the first of the four ties.
Next up, at 5:45pm, is Munster’s tie against four-time European Cup winners Toulouse at Thomond Park. The Limerick ground should be suitably rocking for that occasion.
Sunday gives us a 1pm kick-off as Saracens take on Glasgow Warriors. The action will be rounded off by Toulon’s visit to Stade Marcel Michelin for their daunting test against Clermont.
It should be a cracking 28 hours of rugby action.
