Leinster fly-half Johnny Sexton took advantage of Tuesday’s PRO14 season launch at Celtic Park in Glasgow to poke fun of Ireland teammate Rory Best.
The Ireland internationals were at the home of Celtic FC and Sexton captured Best walking through the tunnel as both players made their way towards the hallowed pitch.
Best maintained during Euro 2016 that he would be happy for both Ireland and Northern Ireland to do well at the tournament, and while we don’t know if he supports Glasgow Celtic or Glasgow Rangers, or any other football club, judging by his reaction he doesn’t appear to be overly enamoured with the Hoops.
Meanwhile Sexton seemed a bit happier to be in Paradise and even took the time to speak to the Celtic tv channel about his support for the club.
“Yeah it’s pretty cool, it’s my first time here even though I support Celtic,” said Sexton.
“It’s an incredible stadium and one that has got me very excited about potentially trying to play here. In Ireland and Dublin most people support Celtic, we seem to have a strong connection to it, I’ve always supported them over the years as my Scottish team.
“I supported Manchester United as well, I know they’re not too close United and Celtic, but they would have both been childhood clubs that I would love to support.”
