All those calls for Ringrose and Healy to be brought into the senior set-up have been heeded.
Joe Schmidt has called up 45 players for a one-day national squad training camp, this Sunday.
The players will assemble at Carton House and begin preparations for this summer’s tour to South Africa.
Healy has been in flying form for Connacht this season and is the leading tryscorer in the Guinness PRO12. He scored a superb try against Grenoble, last Saturday, and excelled in the fullback role. He regularly plays on Connacht’s left wing.
Schmidt has watched the player closely this season and has professed his satisfaction with the Dubliner’s stand-out season.
Ringrose has been Leinster’s starting 13 for most of the season. Schmidt had the 21-year-old in for training ahead of the Six Nations but released him for provincial duty.
The other uncapped players coming into camp are Leinster scrum-half Luke McGrath and second row Quinn Roux.
Elsewhere, Iain Henderson, Sean O’Brien and Peter O’Mahony are all included. The trio have all had seasons blighted by injuries.
