Mangan, 19, was involved in an accident involving a trailer on Saturday afternoon, and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The teenager’s name was released to the public on Sunday after all family members and relatives had been notified.
Mangan was a promising player in Gaelic Games and rugby.
He was a member of the Offaly minor football panel in 2013 and 2014, lined out for Tullamore Rugby Club and represented both Leinster and Ireland.
Sincere sympathy to The Mangan Family & @kilclonfertgaa on the death of 2013/14 Offaly Minor Footballer, Adam following a farm accident RIP

The teenager’s death has unfortunate similarities to the loss of Ulster centre Nevin Spence in 2012.
Spence, along with his brother and father, all died on their Hillsborough, County Down farm after succumbing to fumes in a slurry tank.
