Over the past week, you have helped us select a scrum-half and out-half. The Munster half-back pairing of Peter Stringer and Ronan O’Gara were popular choices and won their respective polls with plenty of votes to spare.
Next, we are selecting slots on the right and left wings.
We have six players up for positions on either the right or left wings. Given that many of these players have had impacts on both wings, we are confident that the flanks will be secure in whatever hands you guys vote for.
Included in our shortlist are three wing legends, Shane Horgan, Simon Geoghegan and Denis Hickie, and three accomplished finishers still scoring tries for the Irish cause, Andrew Trimble, Keith Earls and Tommy Bowe.
