Ireland are into the final four of the U20 World Cup after scoring a dominant four-try bonus point win over Georgia in their final game of Pool A. Andrew Porter, Terry Kennedy, Johnny McPhillips and Hugo Keenan got the tries for Ireland during the 35-7 win after Vasil Lobzhanidze’s opener.
Georgia had a lively start against the Irish, but their momentum after taking an early 7-0 lead came to a grinding halt when they were reduced to 14-men shortly after Ireland’s opening try.

Ilia Spanderashvili was given his marching orders after the TMO found him to have kicked out at a ruck in the build-up to Hugo Keenan’s try.
Second row Sean O’Conner was awarded the Man of the Match award for stepping up the plate in the absence of James Ryan, who was ruled out of the game after picking up a hip injury against the All Blacks.
