How absolutely crucial did this prove for Munster?
Munster were mere metres from the Leicester Tigers line, during their taut Champions Cup clash, when an intercepted Conor Murray pass led to a damaging break.
Tracking over, in his fullback role, Simon Zebo caught up with Leicester winger Adam Thompstone and tackled him just as the ball was hacked on.
Referee Pascal Gauzere was happy enough that Zebo had committed to the tackle but the TMO wanted another look and, ultimately, made the call. Gauzere reasoned that Zebo was getting yellow carded for repeated cynical play from Munster.
Here is a replay of the incident [Zebo is the one in the tractor beam].
On BT Sport, co-commentator Ben Kay said, “There was no way Zebo could pull out of the tackle… That’s a poor decision.”
Toulon and Australia star Matt Giteau did not hold back with his opinion.
That's a joke… 😳 yellow card? 🙄

The fact that Ronan O’Gara retweeted the Aussie would suggest he was in agreement with the Aussie, and Kay.
Tigers clinched the win when Owen Williams slotted over a 55-metre penalty at the death.
