Perfect news on a dark, dreary Monday.
There is no doubt about it, this week is going to drag.
As if often the case when you have something incredibly good to look forward to at the weekend.
In this case, its the small matter of Ireland v Scotland in Murrayfield.
One of the major talking points surrounding the Irish side in the build-up to the Six Nations opener has been the fitness status of some of Ireland’s most important players, particularly Jonathan Sexton and Sean O’Brien.
The Leinster duo have been out of action recently after both suffering calf problems but thankfully Ireland team manager Paul Dean has offered a positive update.
Dean has said that both players will take part in full training this week which is a huge boost for Ireland, as it is likely they will now feature against the Scots.
Additionally, Keith Earls is also expected to return to training this week which is good news considering the Limerick man’s versatility.
Unfortunately for Munster’s Andrew Conway, he aggravated an underlying groin problem and will play no part in this weekend’s action.
