Paul O’Connell has been stretchered off the field in Cardiff.
Ireland’s captain went down injured just before half-time, with his team leading France 9-6, with what appears to be a hamstring injury.
Understandably, Irish fans were devastated by the loss of Ireland’s inspirational leader, particularly as this could potentially be the Munster man’s last international appearance.
Hopefully not though, get better soon Paulie.
Hoping we haven't just witnessed the end of Paul O'connell's amazing and inspirational international career 😔 🇨🇮 #RWC2015
