England’s new World Cup jersey will definitely keep the purists happy

If you like white...

It’ll be an awful dose trying to keep this kit clean.

World Cup hosts England became the latest country to reveal their World Cup jersey, today, and they played it extremely safe.

The sweet chariots will roll into action, later this year, in an all white kit that is low on bells and even shorter on whistles.

Here is some of the remarkable PR spiel: ‘The shirt also features contoured ‘ball deadening’ grip placement to complement the players’ physique.

‘On the pitch, players will benefit from a range of innovations, including reduced fabrication weight, minimising moisture absorption for Canterbury’s most lightweight kit ever.’

The change strip is an all red number, with two different shades of cherry.

Harlequins prop Joe Marler is obviously a fan of the old-man-trousers fashion styling.
