We wonder if Paul Kimmage will take up the invite?
It didn’t take long for CJ Stander to endear himself to the hearts of the Irish rugby public.
It was clear for everyone to see, once Stander made his debut in last year’s Six Nations, that representing Ireland means everything to him.
It’s not just his incredible performances in a green jersey which demonstrate this.
Scarcely believable https://t.co/OG0gR0Ivhg

Stander has fully ingrained himself into the Irish rugby community. He often speaks of his love for Limerick and how much he enjoys living in that part of the country.
Unfortunately for Stander, there is a small proportion of people who have issues with regards to his eligibility for representing Ireland.
Stander, or course, qualified to play for Ireland based on the much maligned three year residency rule.
Some believe this rule is fine the way it is, some think that it should be extended to five years and others, believe that the rule shouldn’t exist in the first place, meaning that players such as Stander and Jared Payne should not be allowed play for Ireland.
Journalist Paul Kimmage, made headlines last month when he stated on The Last Word that he doesn’t want to see Stander in a green jersey.
Most recently, Kimmage added further fuel to the fire when he took a swipe at Munster fans for their support of the 26-year-old.
I used to think the Lance Armstrong fans were idiots…they're nothing compared to these one-eyed Munster tools. https://t.co/QwXBZpe9tl

As expected, this didn’t go down well with Munster fans or fans of Stander in general.
It is an incredibly touchy subject and nearly all Munster fans will tell you that Stander is Mr. Munster.
His teammates are also firm believers of this as Munster and Ireland prop, Dave Kilcoyne, made perfectly clear.
The tweet was subsequently deleted about an hour after it was originally posted.
We would imagine that ‘Killer’ isn’t the only man in Munster who feels this way.
We wonder if Kimmage will take Kilcoyne up on his offer and pay a visit to Thomond Park.
