Don we now our green apparel.
It wouldn’t exactly be a stretch to say that Ireland’s 2019 Rugby World Cup campaign got off to the perfect start. A fantastic bonus-point performance against Scotland leaves Ireland at the top of their pool going into round two, and a victory against host nation Japan would see us have one foot in the quarter finals.
We’ve long known this team’s ability to perform against the biggest sides in the world, and now we’re in a good place to do it on the biggest stage. This World Cup is still only getting started though, so there’s plenty of time for us to show our support for the boys in green.
To that end, we’ve teamed up with Canterbury, official official kit supplier to the Ireland Rugby team, to give away some fantastic cash prizes.
Simply by sending us in photos of you and your colleagues/friends/family wearing your Irish jerseys, you’ll be in with a chance. All you have to do is upload a photo to Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, being sure to tag @CanterburyNZ and mention #TurnTheWorldGreen.
There will be a weekly prize of €250 up for grabs, until the overall winner of a whopping €1,500 will be chosen at the end of the six weeks.
Every week we’ll be picking which photo we think is the best. The photos can be from anywhere in the world, be it Ireland or abroad, but we want you to get creative.
It’s been a few weeks now since this competition first got going, and already there have been some fantastic entries. The ones below are just to give you an idea of what we’re looking for, so get those jerseys on!
