Cian Healy will break the Leinster all-time appearance record this weekend when he lines out against Dragons at Aviva Stadium for their United Rugby Championship clash.
The 36-year-old will move past Devin Toner in the province’s all-time appearance list when he makes his 281st appearance tomorrow evening.
Leo Cullen announced his team for the fixture this afternoon, with Healy included alongside a full swap at number nine and 10 as Jamison Gibson-Park goes out of the squad to be replaced by Luke McGrath and Ross Byrne steps in for Sam Prendergast.
Healy made his Leinster debut at 19 years old in the 2006–07 season, coming on as a substitute against Border Reivers.
He transitioned to first choice at his position for Leinster in the 2008–09 season, and won the 2009 European Rugby Champions Cup beating Leicester Tigers in the final.
In total, Healy has won four European Rugby Champions Cups, seven United Rugby Championships and one European Challenge Cups.
His Ireland career won five Six Nations Championships, two Grand Slams and three Triple Crowns.
