Plenty of changes. Some forced, some resting.

Ulster won’t be going for broke this weekend, as they look to secure a home semi-final in the Pro 12.

Neil Doak has made 12 changes for tomorrow’s crucial meeting with Glasgow in Scotstoun, with just Chris Henry, Louis Ludik and Franco van der Merwe retained from the draw with Munster.

Six of the 12 changes have been forced due to injury, with Darren Cave, Jared Payne, Callum Black, Wiehahn Herbst, Dan Touhy, Peter Nelson and Craig Gilroy all out of action.

However Doak has a strong bench to fall back on, with Rory Best, Iain Henderson, Roger Wilson, Tommy Bowe, Ruan Pienaar and Paddy Jackson available.

It’s a brand new front row, with Rob Herring in between Andrew Warwick and Ricky Lutton, who earns his first start of the season.

Van der Merwe is partnered by Lewis Stevenson at second row, while Robbie Diack, Clive Ross and Chris Henry complete the pack.

Last week’s late try scorer Paul Marshall partners Ian Humphreys in the half backs, while Irish u20 star Sam Arnold gets his first start for the province, alongside Stuart McCloskey,

Michael Allen and Rory Scholes start on the wing with Louis Ludik continuing at full-back.

A win for Ulster, and favourable results elsewhere would see them secure a home semi-final next week.

Ulster: L Ludik; R Scholes, S Arnold, S McCloskey, M Allen, I Humphreys, P Marshall; A Warwick, R Herring, R Lutton, L Stevenson, F van der Merwe, C Ross, C Henry (C), R Diack
