Francis Ngannou nearly took Alistair Overeem off the ground with a brutal left uppercut at UFC 218.
The first round stoppage earned Ngannou a heavyweight title shot at UFC 220 later this month where the Cameroonian will fight defending champion Stipe Miočić in Boston.

Ngannou’s devastating one punch knockout took the top spot on the UFC’s list of their top 10 knockouts with Overeem’s knockout of Mark Hunt at UFC 209, former UFC Women’s Bantamweight champion Holly Holm’s head kick knockout of Bethe Correia at UFC Fight Night 111 and Matt Brown’s devastating elbow stoppage of Diego Sanchez at UFC Fight Night 120 also included.
Notable omissions included Marc Diakiese’s one-punch knockout of Teemu Packalén at UFC Fight Night 107, Mairbek Taisumov’s walk off stoppage of Felipe Silva at UFC Fight Night 115 and Paulo Costa’s brutual beatdown of Johny Hendricks at UFC 217.
