Heavyweights in MMA aren’t typically known for their grappling prowess.

With the obvious exceptions of Fabricio Werdum, Big Nog and Frank Mir, submissions among the big boys are seen less than in the lighter weight classes.

And it looks like Bellator heavyweight Javy Ayala could do with some work on his RNC defence as, rather than hand-fight, he went straight into desperation mode and dived headfirst into the canvas in an attempt to shake Alex Huddleston loose.

It was a valiant, if unusual attempt, but came to no avail as The Shaved Gorilla got the tap a matter of seconds later.
