UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping is absolutely loving life as the bad guy.
After a decade in the UFC perpetual title-shot bridesmaid seized his first opportunity to win that coveted golden strap with both hands as he brutally knocked out Luke Rockhold in UFC 199’s main event.
The brash-mouthed Brit has been scoring low blows on Rockhold ever since the victory and even though he’s scheduled to take on living legend Dan Henderson on the huge UFC 204 card, he’s still using pretty taking every chance he can get to score points on Rockhold.

The Count was asked by TMZ Sports to give his take on Rockhold’s reported relationship with former Barney and Friends star Demi Lovato. Unsurprisingly, the champion didn’t pull any punches with his response, calling both the fighter and the former child star’s intelligence into question.
“Early 20s, alright. Well he’d have to get someone young because he’s kind of dumb. So if he gets them kind of young and they’re impressionable they can look at him and think he’s awesome because he hasn’t got too much going on between the ears.”
“He certainly couldn’t pull a woman with any intelligence, let’s be honest. Maybe he could with his looks, but after a minute once you scratch the surface, you realise he’s a dumb guy.”
Bisping tracked back on his comments slightly, admitting that he had absolutely no idea who Lovato was. However, he’s pretty sure the songstress knows all about him.
“I swear to God I don’t even know who Demi Lovato is. My son has a crush on her. Apparently, he was sat next to her when I knocked Luke Rockhold out, so Demi Lovato knows who I am, that’s for sure.”
Should Bisping successfully defend his belt against Hendo while Rockhold defeats Jacare at UFC Melbourne in November, these two could well be completing their trilogy fight sooner rather than later.
