In such a bizarre week for MMA, this incident just seems par for the course.
Earlier in the week, before all that drama with Khabib Nurmagomedov being forced out of the co-main event, a photo shared by MMA Fighting’s Luke Thomas began doing the rounds on social media.
The photo showed UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping and 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu founder Eddie Bravo squaring off in the middle of a crowded room in Las Vegas, seemingly in the middle of some sort of verbal sparring match.
Bisping was in the City of Sin to promote his upcoming super fight against Georges St-Pierre, while Bravo was there to corner Tony Ferguson, who was supposed to fight for the interim lightweight strap before Nurmagomedov was removed from the card after being hospitalised.
Thomas reported that the two fight personalities had engaged in a heated argument for a half an hour, which seems like a very excessive amount of time to be at each other’s throats.

We don’t know the full story of the dispute, but a short snippet of the argument has surfaced online.
It only lasts just over a minute, and it doesn’t provide much by way of explaining what happened, but here it is in all its glory.
