Jon Jones is gone. Joe Rogan is bummed.
The show has moved swiftly on after removing Jones from the main card of UFC 200. Anderson Silva will now fight Daniel Cormier on Saturday night and Miesha Tate’s title bout with Amanda Nunes is now the main event.
Jones delivered an emotional press conference before exiting stage left and getting out of Las Vegas.

Everything has happened so quickly that it’s hard to decompress and really take in the enormity of events. Rogan tried to do just that during his latest podcast but it was clear he was still reeling from the news of Jones’ withdrawal. In a discussion with Joey Diaz, the UFC commentator said:
“This Jon Jones shit, how disappointed are you Joe? I was at 10 [for disappointment]. For all the fight cancellations, I was a 10. That was heartbreaking…
“From what I understand, I don’t think they’d pull you off a card for doing pot… I think it’s a Performance Enhancing Drug. It could be an accident and it has been an accident many times. Tim Means being the most recent example [of an accident].”
Rogan speculated that it might have been muscle-building supplements that caused USADA to flag Jones for an anti-doping violation. “They throw other stuff in there too,” he said, “they just do because they want their stuff to work.”
Jones himself told reporters that he had been flagged for taking metabolites. UFC president Dana White then revealed two suspect substances showed up in his samples.
The Jones talk begins around the 20-minute mark of the video below.
