While there’s plenty of Irish interest at the 2016 IMMAF World Championships during international fight week, the only Irishman flying the tricolour on a UFC card is Joe Duffy.
Duffy meets Mitch Clarke on Thursday night, on the main card of UFC Fight Night 90, and the Donegal lightweight came in at 155.5 lbs ahead of his attempt at rebounding from his decision defeat at the hands of Dustin Poirier in January.
Duffy put up a good fight against ‘The Diamond’ at UFC 195 but the ground-and-pound superiority of Poirier resulted in a defeat with which Duffy couldn’t have many complaints.

‘Irish Joe’ opens up the main card of UFC Fight Night 90, the event that is headlined by the lightweight title tilt between champion Rafael dos Anjos and challenger Eddie Alvarez, both of whom made the championship limit of 155 lbs.
As per the newly approved regulations from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, all fighters competing on international fight week were allowed to weigh in during a two-hour window on the morning of the day before their fights so the broadcast of the weigh-ins was nothing more than a series of glorified staredowns but, if that’s what you’re into, here you go. (Duffy takes to the mock scales at 19:00).
Here are the results from Wednesday morning’s weigh-ins.
