WATCH: Former UFC heavyweight Shane Carwin brutally knocks out pro skater using only one hand

Now that's a freakshow fight

Former interim UFC heavyweight champion Shane Carwin made his comeback to the fight game on Saturday, but not in the way you might have expected.

The 41-year-old took on ex-professional skater Jason Ellis in a charity boxing match in the main event of Ellismania 13 which went down in Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Casino on Saturday night.

Ellis has just one professional fight under his belt, is four years older and about 100 lbs lighter than Carwin, so to even up the odds (or at least try to), Carwin fought with his right hand strapped to his stomach with duct tape.

As you can probably imagine, this didn’t really help Ellis at all as he was still starched by the UFC veteran in devastating fashion. Carwin dropped him with a hook (obviously, his left) which sent him crashing down to the canvas in a heap.

Carwin has not been seen in action since suffering a unanimous decision loss to Junior Dos Santos in 2011, but he recently announced that he’s planning a return to MMA. He fought six times under the UFC banner scoring notable knockout victories over Frank Mir and Gabriel Gonzaga. His other loss came by way of submission to Brock Lesnar.
