Vin Diesel is as savvy a businessman as they come.
The actor starred in 2002’s xXx and, wisely enough, stepped away from the high-octane franchise. Perhaps tiring of making a Fast & Furious every three months, Diesel is back in his role of Xander Cage.
He will be joined in the third installment of xXx by UFC star Michael Bisping and Barcelona and Brazil footballer Neymar.
Bisping famously replaced Conor McGregor in the cameo henchman role after ‘The Notorious’ pulled out of production to concentrate on his rematch with Nate Diaz.
The UFC middleweight champion has a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance in the first movie trailer but, my, doesn’t he look eager.
A stand-off over not emptying the dishwasher, we reckon.
Diesel knows all about the audience numbers and attention cameo appearances can bring to a movie – he convinced Ronda Rousey to appear in 2015’s Fast & Furious 7.
