The lightweight scrap between Joaquim “Indio” Polonio and Glaucio Eliziario ended in rater spectacular fashion when Eliziario decided to go for a flying armbar in clinch near the cage.
Eliziario just wasn’t able to grab a hold of anything as he launched himself in the air which caused him to come crashing down head first onto the canvas.
As soon as he hit the mat, his eyes rolled back and it was clear that he had rendered himself unconscious. Well, it was clear to everyone except the referee.
Indio immediately pounced on his downed opponent and rained down on him with heavy ground and pound. The referee allowed him to land several heavy blows and waited until he was adequately limp before finally showing mercy and awarding Eliziario the victory.
